WINDOWS 95/98
The Help Screens below will help you configure your
Windows 95 or 98 computer to connect to Marinar. These instructions are printer-friendly.
Step 1
From the desktop, click on the My Computer icon.
Step 2
From the My Computer area, double click on the Dial-Up Networking
icon.
Step 3
Right click on the Marinar icon, and click on the Properties
selection.
Step 4
In the Phone number area,
you will need to enter some settings for the phone number. Please call us at
800-618-4427 to get a phone number local to your area.
In the Connect using box,
select your modem, and then click on the Server Types tab
to continue.
Step 5
- For the Type of Dial-Up Server option, make sure that the PPP
option is selected.
- Under Advanced Options, ensure that Enable software compression
is the only box checked.
- Under Allowed network protocols, make sure that TCP/IP is
the only option selected.
- Click on the TCP/IP Settings… button to continue.
Step 6
- In the first series of radio-buttons, ensure that the Server assigned
IP address option is selected.
- In the second series, select the Server assigned server addresses
option.
- Click OK.
Congratulations! You have just configured your Win95/98 machine to
connect to Marinar!
